According to the blogs, forums and a variety of other news sources affiliate advertisers are getting slapped around by Google big time! Google Adwords costs are skyrocketing, sponsored listing placements have hit rock bottom or are disappearing altogether. What about you? Has your site been affected? Do you want to know the real reason why this happened? Would you like to prevent this from happening to your affiliate site, or regain your Adwords placement? Then listen up. Because contrary to what you might have heard, "Google's Slap" has absolutely nothing to do with squeeze pages or other sign-up forms on your landing pages. Nothing! Then what's the problem? Relevance. It's all about your landing page's relevance people. Technically speaking, Google changed their "Quality Score" standards. The change mostly effects marketers who point their AdWords campaigns to simple sales pages and squeeze pages (AKA lead capture pages). These marketers have lost a lot of traffic and impressions and have seen their cost per click skyrocket. Google has made it crystal clear about its requirements that you make your pages relevant to the keyword, title and description used in your ad. Where does it say that? Right in Google AdWords Landing Page and Site Quality Guidelines: https://adwords.google.com/select/siteguidelines.html Following is an excerpt from those guidelines: "If users don't quickly see what they clicked on your ad to find, they'll leave your site frustrated and may never return to your site or click on ads in the future. Here are some pointers for making sure that doesn't happen: Link to the page on your site that provides the most useful and accurate information about the product or service in your ad. Ensure that your landing page is relevant to your keywords and your ad text. Distinguish sponsored links from the rest of your site content. Try to provide information without requiring users to register. Or, provide a preview of what users will get by registering. In general, build pages that provide substantial and useful information to the end-user. If your ad does link to a page consisting of mostly ads or general search results (such as a directory or catalog page), provide additional information beyond what the user may have seen in your ad or on the page prior to clicking on your ad. You should have unique content (should not be similar or nearly identical in appearance to another site). For more information, see our affiliate guidelines." Here's the summarized version: If all of the affiliate links are removed from your site does your site still provide relevant, informative and valuable content for visitors? It really doesn't get any clearer than that what Google wants to see, now does it? All Google is trying to do is get you to improve the quality of your site. Having quality content on your site like articles, reports, news, etc., will also help your AdWords listings. In addition, content rich web sites rank well in organic search engine listings. Through the placement of your site in the search engines, you will be able to attract more and better targeted traffic. Content rich sites are also more likely to obtain incoming links from outside sites. Google loves incoming links. These links will also pull in targeted traffic. Speaking of links, when you add content to your site, link directly to a content page from the landing page. My research has shown, sites with a considerable number of pages have been less effected by Google's Slap. Also, add a "Contact" page to your site and link directly to this page from the landing page. Finally, create a "Site Map" and link to all your content pages directly from the site map. In addition, the content page you’ve linked to from the landing page, should link to the site map. I contacted a few affiliates I know, while doing research for this article and here's what I discovered: The affiliates who provide relevant, valuable content on their landing pages have found their efforts are actually being rewarded during this latest Google Dance. I also discovered, their Adwords costs are actually decreasing, while their placement in the sponsored listings are increasing, thus making their ads more visible. In closing, if you want to avoid Google's Slap, just provide quality content throughout your site, link directly to the content from your landing page, and make your landing pages relevant to the keyword, title and description used in your ad. Affiliate marketing has become one of the most effective ways to advertise online. It is also one of the easiest ways for anyone with a website to make a profit online. Affiliate Marketing is an agreement between a merchant and a website owner. The website owner, or the affiliate, allows the use of their site for the promotion of the merchant's products by linking to the merchant's website. In exchange, the merchant pays a commission to the affiliate on all sales generated by the affiliate. Every time someone clicks on the link on the affiliate website and proceeds to make a purchase, the affiliate gets a commission. The merchant will pay the affiliate only when a customer clicks on the product link and makes a purchase. Are you a webmaster who needs funds to keep your website running? Or is your website the only way for you to earn income? Whichever you are, for as long as you are a webmaster or a web publisher and you need cash, affiliate marketing may work well for you. With affiliate marketing, you may get a lot of cash pouring into your bank account easily. And if your website is rich in great contents and you want to earn more profit, why not get into the Google Adsense program as well? Why Affiliate Marketing? Well, simply because affiliate marketing is the easiest and probably the best way to earn profits online, unless otherwise you are a businessman and would rather sell your own products online than advertise other businessman’s products on your site. But even online retailers can benefit from affiliate marketing programs, because affiliate marketing actually works for merchants as well as it works for the affiliates. Affiliate marketing, simply said, is a relationship or agreement made between two websites, with one site being the merchant’s website and the other being the affiliate’s site. In the relationship, the affiliate agrees to let the merchant advertise his products on the affiliate’s site. The merchant, on the other hand, would agree to pay the affiliate in whatever method they have agreed into. This would generally mean easy income for the affiliate, as he would do nothing but place the retailer’s ad on his site. This would also be very beneficial for the merchant, as getting affiliates to advertise their products would be a lot more affordable than hiring an advertising firm to promote their products. There are a variety of methods on how the merchant would compensate the affiliate for his services, and for the webmaster, these methods simply translates to the method by which he would earn easy cash. Among the more common methods of compensation are the pay-per-click method, the pay-per-lead method, and the pay-per-sale method. The pay-per-click method is the method most preferred by affiliates, for their site’s visitor would only have to visit the advertiser’s site for them to gain money. The other two methods, on the other hand, are better preferred by merchants, as they would only have to compensate you if your visitor becomes one of their registrants or if the visitor would actually buy their products. Getting much profit on affiliate marketing programs, however, does not depend so much on the compensation method is it does on the traffic generated by your site. A website that can attract more visitors would generally have the greater chance of profiting in affiliate marketing programs. What about Google Adsense? Google Adsense is actually some sort of an affiliate marketing program. In Google Adsense, Google act as the intermediary between the affiliates and the merchants. The merchant, or the advertiser, would simply sign up with Google and provide the latter with text ads pertaining to their products. These ads, which is actually a link to the advertiser’s website, would then appear on Google searches as well as on the websites owned by the affiliates, or by those webmasters who have signed up with the Google Adsense program. While one can find a lot of similarities between Google Adsense and other affiliate marketing programs, you can also see a lot of differences. In Google Adsense, all the webmaster has to do is place a code on his website and Google takes care of the rest. The ads that Google would place on your site would generally be relevant to the content of your site. This would be advantageous both for you and for the advertiser, as the visitors of your site would more or less be actually interested with the products being advertised. The Google Adsense program compensates the affiliate in a pay-per-click basis. The advertisers would pay Google a certain amount each time their ad on your site is clicked and Google would then forward this amount to you through checks, although only after Google have deducted their share of the amount. Google Adsense checks are usually delivered monthly. Also, the Google Adsense program provides webmasters with a tracking tool that allows you to monitor the earnings you actually get from a certain ad. So, where do all of these lead us to? Where else but to profits, profits and even more profits! Affiliate marketing programs and the Google Adsense program simply work, whether you are the merchant or the affiliate. For the merchant’s side, a lot of money can be saved if advertising effort is concentrated on affiliate marketing rather than on dealing with advertising firms. For the webmaster, you can easily gain a lot of profits just by doing what you do best, and that is by creating websites. And if you combine all your profits from both the Google Adsense program and other affiliate marketing programs, it would surely convert to a large amount of cash. All the same, the best benefit of being an affiliate marketer is the opportunity to increase your income; and you can make a profit even if affiliate marketing is only a sideline business. With your own affiliate business, you can earn easily earn extra income, although you do have to exert effort and use your imagination to maximize your earning potential. Indeed, affiliate marketing is one of the simplest and most effective business opportunities on the web today. In my last article I touched on a few different ways to make money online. One of the simplest ways to do this is to use Google AdWords to market products for which you are an affiliate. One of the best affiliate programs available is ClickBank. They have hundreds of items available for affiliate marketing. They don't allow any products that aren't digital, available for immediate download. It takes only a few minutes to get signed up as an affiliate, and it costs nothing. The signup form is here. Once you have an affiliate account with ClickBank, you need to log in, and find a product you want to market. This can be done at the ClickBank Marketplace. The products are ranked using a proprietary system designed by ClickBank. This system attempts to place the products most likely to make you money at the top of the list. It takes into consideration several factors, including previous sales trends, and conversion rates. (A conversion rate is the percentage of visitors who are referred to a site that actually purchase the product described). Go to the marketplace, and pick a product you'd like to market. Look at the product's home page, and decide whether it's something you think people will be interested in. Look at the cost of the product, and the percentage commission you will earn for sales. Obviously the higher the commission the better, but picking a product that sells well is more important than picking a product with a high commission. Once you've found your product, click the link that says "Earn X%". This will pop up a window telling you what your affiliate link should be for this seller. Copy the link down, and save it for the time being. Next you need to find a way to get people to click this link. As you may have guessed by now, Google's AdWords program is the easiest way to get started. The other option is to start your own web site, but this takes some time and quite a bit more effort. I'll cover some of these topics in coming articles. For now we'll focus on AdWords. First, you'll need to sign up for an AdWords account. Go to the main AdWords site and click the button labeled "Click to begin". You'll need to tell Google a few things about your target market, and then you can create an ad. I'll go into more detail about how to create the perfect ad a bit later, but for now I'll focus on a few important things. First, make sure you read the Editorial Guidelines for AdWords. There's a link on the page where you're setting up your ad. One thing to note is that Google requires you to put the word "Affiliate" or "Aff." in your ad so people know you're an affiliate. You also can't do things like use a bunch of exclamation marks or type your ad all in caps. There's an automated review process which will catch most of these errors, and a human review process which will catch most things not caught by the automated review. Enough of what not to do. Try to make your ad eye-catching, without violating the guidelines. Use active verbs, and make sure you use relevant keywords you think potential customers might be searching for. Google will highlight keywords in your ad when they're part of the user's search phrase. Once you've created your ad text and gotten past the automated review, you're ready to choose keywords. Choose the keywords you think are most relevant to your product. Even if you can create an ad with a fantastic click through rating that drives hordes of people to your affiliate link, you won't make any money unless those people actually buy the product. Type in some keywords, and use the "Keyword Tool" on the right hand side of the page to get suggestions from Google. Also think about common misspellings for keywords. This can be a good way to get some cheap clicks that are still relevant. You'll next have to determine how much you are willing to pay. The best strategy is to start out small. Spending even $10 per day can give you an idea of what might work and what might not. Once you have an ad that's working, and you've made a couple of sales, you can increase your max cost per day. Keep in mind that if you have high demand keywords, and a low maximum Cost Per Click, your ad may never get shown, or it may be shown on page 99 of the Google results. You need to find a balance between paying $5 for a single click, and not having your ad shown at all. Usually the "recommendations" made by Google are way too high, and will cause you to go broke in a hurry. Almost done now. You'll now need to finish signing up for your account. You'll need a credit card so Google can charge you when your ads are clicked. They'll add everything up and charge you once per month or so for all of your clicks. Do be careful about spending your entire budget on the first day. You'll need a couple weeks at least to try to evaluate what works and what doesn't. Don't be afraid to start small, and work your way up slowly to making more sales. There is no doubt that Google affiliates rank as some of the most successful affiliates anywhere on the web.
Yet few understand the reason behind this success. Even the majority of Google affiliates who are yet to start making huge five figure checks do not quite understand why the Google Adsense program has flourished so much within such a short time.
Anybody who understands the real secrets behind the phenomenal rise of Google affiliates will be in a much better position to benefit and profit from it, whether or not they are current Adsense affiliates.
1. Google Affiliates Are Riding On The Most Dramatic Shift In The Advertising Industry In History
A few webmasters think that this Adsense and pay per click affiliate mania is a passing fad. All indications are that this is not the case. If anything mounting evidence points to one of the most dramatic and rapid shifts in advertising industry history. You can’t beat the deal to advertisers where they pay only for actual traffic to their website and more so when they can easily calculate their conversion rate on that traffic and predict their profit margin on the deal. This arrangement cannot be duplicated on TV or in any other offline media with so much precision and accuracy.
This means that advertising revenue will continue to shift away from other media and will move online at an even more rapid rate than is the case currently. And not just any online mediums like banner ads for example. The revenue will specifically shift to pay per click text ads. If you need some proof just look at the Google numbers in recent months, and most of it is being generated by PPC ad revenue.
What does that mean to a blogger or webmaster? It means huge and increasing profits as the number of advertisers grows and the competition between them for clicks grows fiercer.
It means that any expert in any tiny little niche will find it increasingly easier to make a good regular income from a low traffic targeted site with higher paying, more valuable Adsense keywords.
2. Google Affiliates Recognize That Content Is Not King, It’s Everything
Writers, or rather good writers are already enjoying a huge advantage as Google affiliates. Only well written content will attract quality traffic and only interesting engrossing content will keep that traffic coming back again and again. Only high-quality keyword rich content will keep a site high in search engine rankings and thus guarantee enough traffic to keep Google affiliate adsense earnings high.
3. Top Google Affiliates Are All Using The Blog Secret
Blogs were created for linking and everybody knows that links are closely related to traffic in two ways, firstly they generate traffic but more importantly, they help a site achieve high search engine rankings with usually opens the floodgates of traffic. Top Google affiliates are using this secret to keep those big fat Google affiliate Adsense checks arriving by special courier every month.
Most top Google affiliates have dozens of blogs loaded with the right keywords and engaging content. With just a little SEO (search engine optimization) skills, these new breed of high flying online professionals are able to get their sites to the top of search engine rankings. It is then minimal maintenance as they sit back and watch the traffic volumes flow to their blogs already loaded with Adsense ads. The result of all this is that the clicks happening at their sites shoots up and with it their Google affiliate Adsense earnings.
4. Google Affiliates Are Using The Secret of The Hook
In advertising it is called the hook. Journalists call it the angle or slant of the story. Both mean the same thing. It is all about picking up a subject and asking yourself, what aspect of it most interests your audience? If you answer that question accurately then your ad or your article will attract maximum interest.
Online this is becoming more critical by the day. Content that is not slanted to fit the interests and needs of you audience will not attract enough interest and this impacts on the traffic of your blog or site and ultimately on your Google affiliate adsense earnings.

Rumors are now running amok that the 2nd most powerful website on the entire Worldwide-Web may file BANKRUPTCY, with the deadline set for this December; being the date of both discharge and dissolution in a Federal Court of Law.
This would come as a SHOCK to investors and "Googlers" alike who both profit and benefit from the use of the World's largest and most powerful search engine which receives far in excess of 100 MILLION unique daily visitors and well over 300 million individual searches daily - making it perhaps the single most valuable public data resource as an "information bank" online the world over.
But is the rumor true or false?
The origin of the rumor occurred when some savvy Internet marketers began making statements that they had heard "insiders' talk" that the company (now publicly traded since April 30, 2004, just over 3 years ago) may face financial disaster with the release of a "new system" that would allow advertisers to get their otherwise pay-per-click (PPC) advertising completely free.
This, of course, would naturally lead directly (like a domino- effect) to the collapse of Google's sibling program AdSense; as its only revenue comes from the direct sales of AdWords "clicks."
The "new system" in question and responsible for the controversy over getting AdWords pay-per-clicks free is that developed by Dr Jon Cohen of New York City, New York (now retired) who discovered a simple, yet effective means, for getting Google PPC ads without having to suffer the costs involved.
The retired New York doctor and native has a publicly disclosed net worth now in excess of $70 million [US], having generated well over $377 million in product sales from sixteen (16) separate online businesses within just nine (9) years since first venturing online in 1998 (about the same time as Google was founded).
It is estimated by company insiders and leading financial analysts that the "good doctor" (as he's called by "all who know him") has purportedly saved well over $93 million (some estimates suggest closer to $136 million) in otherwise paid advertising at Google and the other major players in the PPC targeted-search arena online - including Yahoo, MSN, AskJeeves, AllTheWeb.com, HotBot, AltaVista, Lycos and Netscape, just to name a few.
The "secret" became available to the general masses last April, and its very release caused such a major sweeping stir among the community of Internet-marketers, affiliate-marketers, webmasters, ecommerce company owners and surfers alike that the site quickly rose to break the top most visited 1,000 websites on the entire planet briefly; and as can be seen here:
http://tinyurl.com/39lnjn (Alexa data on this!)
When asked if the "secret" would somehow ruin Google, Dr Cohen revealed almost cryptically that it actually would bring about just the opposite effect, and "stimulate" even more business volume for the virtual giant.
Many people were dismayed to find that Google itself is deliberately allowing the purchase of 100,000's of PPC ads offering the secret system to the general public -- which indicates to most observers that either they [Google] haven't caught it, or they simply feel that it somehow is not a threat to their continued operation.
For anyone's inspection factual and hard evidence supporting this can be seen by simply looking to the right-hand column when doing a search for "get google ads free" (specifically in quotation marks) at Google.com under the "Sponsored Links" section.
Or take this direct and instant SHORTCUT:
http://tinyurl.com/2ctu6j
You can also see nearly 100,000 specific results in the "organic" fields index located in the center and which occupies the bulk of the results pages.
One would think that if Google felt threatened by such a release as this earth-shaking "secret" is, they would hardly allow for either paid-ads or organic content to make the top searches regarding it.
However, evidence supports to the contrary - and this being the case now for a full six (6) months.
Mysteriously, within just two (2) hours of its initial release last April, Google itself actually did in fact 'pause' the parent firm's attempts at advertising the new system using PPCs on their search engine - only, however, to release the hold after a Review Team consisting of some of Google's top executives completed performing an in-depth investigation and made the determination to ALLOW the ads to run.
The secret system was recently revised however to include "major new content" and "more exhaustive instructions," and is now available at its Home Site:
http://cutedeal4u.freegoogle.hop.clickbank.net
The most important addition is that of a so-called "string of code" (tech-talk for some HTML) that can be added to any webpage(s) that instantly causes the elimination of the page owner's AdWords costs right away.
Even a "live" woman spokes-representative ("Rachel") has been added to the site, and who appears to literally walk out onto the webpage and talk to visitors and explain a bit more how the mysterious new breakthrough system works.
Since the addition of this new "live" spokes-woman has now appeared at the site, company Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mr Todd Coutrin states that "sales for the system have skyrocketed above 2,430% suddenly and with no limit in sight."
Coutrin continues: "With the newest revision now in place, plus all the additions added, affiliates for the new system can expect to earn even more than ever before!" (Note: Affiliates make up the bulk of the firm's sales generation.)
The refund rate for the new revised version of the secret (named V5.1) has dropped to less than half of what it was before the newer version's release; meaning it's now even more readily-received and put to use than ever before (perhaps in large part to the newer simplicity of application) - now making it the safest and one of the best resellers for the networks of affiliate marketers who earn their revenues from the reselling of other electronic publishers' stock and digital product lines.
When asked, Google company representatives stated matter-of-factly that the rumors of bankruptcy for the ecommerce giant are simply not true, and that the rumor millings are in fact simply the result of "panics" brought on by the usual hysteria associated with anything large, new or revolutionary - or in this case, all three.
Attempts to contact both Sergey Brin and Larry Page, the former Stanford University students who founded Google in 1998, to request comment were unsuccessful.
Again, Google itself seems to be the biggest supporter of the "new system" as it's allowing more and more advertisers to promote the new system on its search engine before over 100 million daily searches and surfers.

Having a website is a good step to start your online business, having an optimized website is a great step; but Imagine having 5, 10, 50, or more optimized websites; isn’t it an amazing automated money making machine?
A single answer, we can not keep away from: Adsense Templates will dramatically increase all sorts of revenue and will make your Internet Business surely succeed.

Affiliate programs are a hot online fad in today's world. Type in affiliate programs in Google and see how many search results pop up. Well if you don't have time to type it in I'll do it for you! There are currently 15,000,000 search results, yes, fifteen million. Why are affiliate programs so popular today? Well, they encompass two things that make a perfect package; you get paid when you sell the product and the company gets its share too. So, you have companies wanting money and you have people (affiliate marketers) wanting to make money for the companies for a share of the green, ah, the bliss.
I only wish affiliate marketing were more "newbie" friendly. With every legitimate affiliate program on the web there are two programs trying to scam you out of your hard earned money. Type in internet scams and you'll get close to one million results, it's a sad thing, yes, but people are selfish and if you choose to dive into this world you're going to have to be pretty resilient. If you let your competitors or a small setback make you quit then you have only let them win.
I'm writing this in hopes that you will make an educated decision on whether affiliate marketing is the right route for you. It's a kill or be killed world and thousands have tried and only a handful have successfully risen to the "super affiliate" status. Although this world is tough there are very small steps you can take to rise above some of your soon to be less prepared competitors. There are programs that give you the edge and not all are scams.
Affiliate information products and programs have been around ever since the word "affiliate" has been spoken. But again remember that for ever 1 legit program there are 2 trying to rip you off. I've been scammed myself, a few times. It is one of the most horrible feelings when you realize that you have spent money and not received what was promised. There area few simple rules to follow to not get scammed!
1- Make sure the website looks legit, lots of advertisements on a website are a bad sign that the owner is just trying to monetize his or her site for their own good.
2- Make sure there is some sort of email or phone number, when you buy something and you can't quite figure out how it ticks you need an actual person to talk to. This one is KEY. No contact info, DON'T BUY!
3- Some of these products that you see do sound a little good to be true, well; it's just a method of advertising. Affiliate marketers are trained to excite the emotions of a potential buyer and telling someone they will make $1000 a day and not $75 dollars a day is going to set of some emotional response which could potentially result in a buy. I have reviewed several of these products, I've tried more then I would like to admit and there are a few that don't lead you on and actually have the potential to deliver what they say on their sites.
Affiliate marketing is an excellent way to make some extra cash online but make sure you are prepared and DO NOT rush into things. If you want to get started please do so with the help of a knowledgeable friend or a legitimate online program. If you don't know where to find good programs check out my website.
